Mark Williams

Mark is lead Portfolio Manager on Polen Capital's Asia ex Japan and Emerging Markets Dividend Growth strategies. Mark originally joined Somerset in 2020, which subsequently completed a transaction with Polen Capital in 2024 that appointed Polen as the investment manager of four strategies from Somerset. Prior to joining Somerset, Mark was Head of Asia Pacific Equities and Lead-Manager of the Asia ex-Japan strategy at Liontrust Investment Partners, where the product was originally launched in March 2012. Prior to Liontrust, he specialized in Asian Equity mandates at Occam, where he ran their Asian equities strategies, and F&C where he ran the flagship Asia Pacific Growth Funds. Mark received a B.A. in Law from Cambridge University, UK.
