Michael Guarasci

Mike is Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for the firm’s trading and operations, analytics, and technology. In addition, Mike is the Chief Risk Officer and oversees all aspects of investment and operational risk. Prior to joining Polen Capital in 2020, Mike served in various leadership positions, including divisional COO and CFO of two major global financial firms, Global COO of an Asia-focused hedge fund, and COO/CFO and Head of Strategic Planning for a major retirement platform. Mike began his career at American Airlines in its finance department and spent time at Arthur D. Little and Price Waterhouse, where he built its M&A/Valuation practice in the Southeast region of the U.S. Mike earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mike holds a CPA license and FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
